Warwickshire has two characters. The north, around Nuneaton, Bedworth and Atherstone, is a former coalfield area with towns close together near the M6 and the A5. The south, around Stratford and Shipston-on-Stour, is rural and reaches the edge of the Cotswolds.
Between them sit Rugby, Kenilworth, Warwick and Leamington, and on the north-western edge Coleshill looks towards Birmingham and the M42. Requests from all of these are routed by postcode in the same way.
Coleshill and Atherstone sit in North Warwickshire, Nuneaton and Bedworth just south, and Rugby on the M6 and M45. Plenty of terraced streets and semi-detached estates here; collection is usually from the kerb or a drive.
Shipston-on-Stour and the villages towards the Cotswolds can involve narrow lanes and older properties with tight access. A quick description of the approach saves time.
